Badge earner looked into the “mirror” of their practice, surfaced their resources and competencies, explored growth areas, and learned from peers. They became aware of their own practices, resources, and competencies, as well as what they need for continuous professional development.
To get a badge, a youth worker needed:
- To reflect on their role, activities and reasons for being involved in youth work.
- To use the skills cards to identify their strengths and areas for improvement.
- To share their reflection with their peers.
Activity content and badge issuing criteria aligned with the European Training Strategy (ETS) competence model for youth workers to work internationally.
